Data controller
Martin Grove, CVR 46755553, Trindballevej 14, 8260 Viby J, Denmark, kontakt@margo.dk. Contact is via the contact form or by email.
What information is collected
The contact form asks for a name, an email address and a free-text message about what you need. If you write directly to kontakt@margo.dk, what you write and your sender address are handled in the same way. The message may contain information about your business. Please don't include personal data about other people, or confidential material.
Purpose
The information is used solely to answer your enquiry and for any subsequent dialogue about working together. It is not used for marketing, not passed on and not used for profiling.
Legal basis
Processing takes place as part of steps prior to entering into a contract, and on the basis of a legitimate interest in being able to reply to an enquiry.
How an enquiry is handled
The form passes what you write to a small service on the server. It turns the information into one email to kontakt@margo.dk and does not store it along the way. There is neither a file nor a database behind the form. An email sent directly ends up in the same place.
The server keeps an ordinary web-server log of all page views. It contains the IP address, the time, the address that was requested and the browser used. It is used for troubleshooting and for detecting abuse.
The service behind the form only records that a message was sent or rejected. It logs no personal data.
There are no analytics, no cookies and nothing that follows you around the pages here. The fonts are hosted on the server itself, so nothing is fetched from anyone else.
Retention
The web-server log is rotated daily and deleted after 15 days.
The enquiry itself sits in my mailbox. I delete it no later than 12 months after our last contact, unless we have entered into an agreement that requires it to be kept longer.
Processors
Three suppliers are involved, because they run the technical side:
- Hetzner — hosts the server. They have access to its operation, including the web-server log.
- SMTP2GO — relays the email from the server to my mailbox.
- Proton Mail — runs kontakt@margo.dk, the mailbox where the enquiry is kept.
Beyond them, the information is not passed on, and it is not sold.
Your rights
You have the right to access the information processed about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. You can object to the processing and ask for it to be restricted. You can withdraw consent at any time.
You can also ask to have the information you provided yourself handed over in a common file format.
Requests about your rights go through the contact form or to kontakt@margo.dk.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with the processing, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark, datatilsynet.dk.
